CCS Principal Shaves Mustache

Background:
The students at Covenant Christian School put on a big push to collect as many hats mittens and scarves as possible recently, and were rewarded by watching their Principal, Mr. Sid Bakker, shave off his beloved mustache. The winter gear is being donated to West Lincoln Community Care. They reached an even higher goal causing Mr. Bakker to dye his hair.

The attached files are two pictures: The first is the Students Council and Mr. Bakker with the “Mitten Tree”, and the second is a picture of the grade one class witnessing the removal of Mr. Bakker’s moustache!

The students at Covenant Christian School brought in so many items for their school’s “Mitten Tree” recently, that their Principal, Mr. Sid Bakker, shaved off his moustache and dyed his hair! In total more than 150 pairs of mittens, scarves and hats were donated to West Lincoln Community Care. Above, the Student Council displays the donated items, and the grade one class watches Mr. Bakker remove his beloved moustache!
