Covenant Christian School Wins ‘Battle of the Books’!
Background:
The students at Covenant Christian School fielded two strong teams for a recent competition called “Battle of the Books”. Participating schools have team members who read many books from prescribed lists, and then the teams are quizzed on the contents. This year’s Senior Team came home as ‘Battle of the Books’ Champions! The program is designed to encourage extra-curricular reading, to recognize the gifts and abilities of those who are interested and gifted in the area of reading, and to celebrate the gift of good books!
